I am painting glass hearts for my first gallery show. I first took a picture of the plain glass heart and practiced designs on procreate on my ipad. The above image is the result.

Next I bought Pebeo Glass Paint and painted the hearts on it. I have painted 6 hearts so far. I have 25 ornaments to paint. After I get all of the hearts on I will begin to paint the tree over the top. I haven’t decided if I will paint anything in the back or not. Part of me wants to do solid red but I am going to wait to see how the tree overlay comes out.
The hearts were difficult to paint because the paint is so transparent. It showed the brush marks and areas that were heavier. I am hoping when I lay the tree on top, I can cover up some of the imperfections in the paint.
What do you think so far?
